As in 2006 we were site hosts at Red Rock State Park in Sedona, AZ. We really enjoyed being in the park. On our days off we had the opportunity to explore the area.

Due to a missed exit we traveled I10 through New Orleans. Even though we didn't intend to go through New Orleans, I'm glad we did because it was a vivid reminder of the devistation that still exists from Hurrican Katrina. We gone on with our lives, but forget about those unfortunate folks who are still struggling from the effects of the hurricane. We drove by many apartment complexes, homes, shopping centers, and other businesses that have not been repaired or rebuilt since the hurricane.

We arrived home thankful for a safe trip and wonderful time.

We spent a week at Thousand Trails - Peace River, Wauchula, FL

Very nice resort - we had a great time visiting with folks and enjoying the facilities. Only in Florida could you go to a New Year's Eve Party in shorts and a t-shirt. We were amazed at the all the buzzards wintering along the Peace River. We've never seen so many buzzards in one place.
