Jupiter, FL

Several miles of Jupiter Island is protected for nesting sea turtles.  We were fortunate to see a Loggerhead sea turtle lay about 2 dozen eggs and them make her way back to the ocean.

White light shows hole she dug to lay her eggs - notice her two flippers

She covered up the eggs with her flappers

The Loggerhead Marine Science Center (hospital for sea turtles) has a museum and several tanks of recovering sea turtles.
